In short: we keep only what the service needs to work, we don’t sell data, and we never post anything without your action. The details, in plain words, are below.
Who we are
Video Asset Manager (vam.pro and app.vam.pro) is provided by Video Asset Manager. For any question about your data, write to hello@vam.pro.
What we store
- Your account: email, name and, if you sign in with email, a secure hash of your password. If you sign in with Google or Twitch, we store the ID of that account.
- Your files: the videos, images and music you upload, everything made from them (clips, joins, renders) and the contents of your boards. The files you’re working on are on our server within your working space; the main copy is on your Google Drive, if you connected it.
- Connected Google Drive: the Google account’s email and name, access tokens (encrypted), and the IDs of folders and files the app created or that you picked for it.
- Connected TikTok and YouTube accounts: the account ID, name and avatar, and the access tokens. Tokens are stored encrypted.
- Scheduled posts: which clip goes where and when, the caption, and the result of posting.
- Payments: your customer and subscription IDs at Stripe. Card details are handled by Stripe; we never see or store them.
- Technical data: IP address and browser in server logs, to protect the service from abuse.
What we do with Google Drive access
- We only ask for the
drive.filepermission: the app sees just the files and folders it created and the ones you picked for it in Google’s window. The rest of your Drive is invisible to it. - We create a main “Video Asset Manager” folder and project folders, upload your videos and clips there, download them back when they’re needed for work, rename them along with the project, and move files you delete in the app to the Drive trash (where they can be restored for 30 days).
- Files you import from your Drive are only read: we don’t change or delete them.
- We read how much free space your Drive has to show it in the app.
What we do with TikTok and YouTube access
- We read basic profile info (name, avatar) to show which account is connected.
- We upload only the videos you publish or schedule yourself, with the caption and settings you chose.
- We never post anything without your action. We don’t read your other videos, messages or followers.
- To publish to YouTube we use the YouTube API Services. By connecting YouTube you agree to the YouTube Terms of Service; how Google handles data is described in the Google Privacy Policy.
Data from Google
Video Asset Manager’s use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. We use this data only for the features you see in the app (storage on Google Drive and publishing to YouTube), we don’t sell it, don’t use it for ads and don’t share it except as needed for those features or required by law. People only access it with your consent (for example, when you write to support) or for security and legal compliance.
How to disconnect Google Drive, TikTok or YouTube
In the app: Google Drive is disconnected on the Storage page, TikTok and YouTube on the Channels page. The tokens of that account are deleted, and the files on your Drive stay. You can also revoke access on the platform itself: for Google it’s the account permissions page, for TikTok it’s the app management section of the security settings.
Who else sees your data
Team projects are visible to the members of your team. We don’t sell data or share it with anyone except the services VAM can’t work without: Stripe (payments), an email service (password resets, invites), TikTok and YouTube (only what you publish), Google Drive (your own files, into your own Drive) and the hosting where working-space files live.
Deletion
You can delete your account on the Account page in the app. Your projects, files on the server, social and Google Drive tokens and posts are deleted with it. Files on your Google Drive stay — it’s your Drive. If your subscription ends, projects lock, but the files are kept until you delete them, and every project can be downloaded as an archive.
Cookies
Just two: a session cookie to keep you signed in and a language cookie. No ads, trackers or third-party analytics. The site’s fonts load from Google Fonts.
Your rights
You can ask for a copy of your data, correct it or have it deleted. Write to hello@vam.pro and we’ll get back to you.
Changes
If this page changes in a meaningful way, we’ll let you know in the app or by email.
